Introduction

Crownkyn Superhard resin bond mesh diamond is a synthetic material with a friable crystal structure for use in vitrified and resin bond systems. The crystals are irregular, elongated and rough-edged, and are suitable for grinding tungsten carbide, ceramics and glasses.

The friability or breakdown of resin bond mesh diamond due to is a function of its polycrystalline structure and metallic inclusions in the crystal grains. Grains are microfractured during grinding and new edges formed for efficient, free-cutting action.

Resin bonded diamond provides higher grinding performance and lower grinding resistance and is widely used in wet and dry grinding fields to process hard materials. Generally, the resin binder system is a phenol resin or a polyimide resin. In special cases, special resin binders are also used. Adding suitable additives will make the resin binder more widely applicable. The optimal combination between the resin binder and the abrasive is the key to precision grinding, high-quality polishing and high grinding efficiency.

We provide products customized according to customer requirements.

Features
